I was deeply impressed by the movie It follows, and its nerve racking circular camera movement, which illustrate that a treat could appear around every corner.
With this photograph and the associated series, the constraint of the static shot illustrates the inability of the watcher (you?) to escape from an approaching threat, paralyzed by fear.
